bFlex Expands to Italy, Bringing Bike Sales, Rentals, Leasing and Tours Into One Marketplace

Co-funded by the European Union and backed by Lars Rasmussen (co-founder of Googlemaps), Investing For Purpose and Helidoni Group, bFlex is opening its e-mobility marketplace to Italian vendors and customers. Four Italian companies have already signed up.

The platform now enables customers in Italy to buy bikes, rent bikes locally, lease bikes for longer-term use and book guided cycling tours through one online marketplace.

The expansion into Italy marks another step in bFlex’s mission to make sustainable mobility more accessible across Europe. Four Italian companies have already joined the platform, showing early demand from local bike shops, rental operators, tour providers and e-mobility vendors.

Through bFlex Italy, customers can discover and access multiple bike-related services in one place. They can rent bikes in Italian cities and tourist destinations, buy new or secondhand bikes from participating vendors, lease bikes for monthly use and book guided bike tours from local operators.

For Italian bike companies, e-bike shops, rental operators, tour providers, hotels and mobility vendors, bFlex offers a new digital sales channel without fixed monthly costs. Vendors can create a free account, list their products and services and use bFlex’s booking, payment and fleet management tools. Vendors only pay commission when they generate revenue through the platform.
