The tour begins from the small and busy picturesque area of Psirri, full of restaurants with live music, bars and Greek taverns serving traditional specialties, small shops with handmade goods, clothes, leather, linen and souvenirs. We continue in the direction of the historical area of Thiseion, which is surrounded by neoclassical buildings. This is were the Athenians love to walk around, especially in the summer season!

Our path will lead us through the pedestrian street in the famous area of the Acropolis  and the New Museum. We will find ourselves in the shadow of the Acropolis and the ancient temples in Plaka, the old city of Athens which is built up the hill. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful, colorful and picturesque areas of Athens. As soon as you enter the narrow paved streets of Plaka, you will have the feeling that you have been transported back in time. The architecture of the neoclassical houses, the small gardens with fragrant flowers, the very atmosphere of Plaka will surely enchant you. Small shops selling jewelry, clothing and local ceramics line the narrow paved streets. Outdoor cafes and family taverns offer relaxation and delicious meals.

Through the streets of Plaka we will reach the bustling area of Monastiraki with a stop at the Roman Agora. The Roman Agora is an archaeological site in the center of Athens. It was the central market in ancient Athens in Roman times. We will continue our walk to find ourselves in Monastiraki Square with the special outdoor market with antiques, handmade sandals, souvenir t-shirts and so much more.

Finally, we will comfortably complete our beautiful ride with the Ezraider by reaching the last attraction of our tour, the Zappeio Mansion. It is one of the most important buildings in Athens. Zappeion hosts cultural events, art exhibitions, conferences, scientific seminars, etc. It is generally used for meetings and ceremonies, both official and private and is one of the city’s most renowned modern landmarks.
