Welcome to the Ipsario Tour. This route is designed for experienced cyclists as well as beginners who are new to bike tours and e-bike usage. It’s suitable for almost everyone – whether you’re a seasoned rider or someone who simply wants to experience the thrill of riding on two wheels. By using the bicycles of our fleet the route can be made very pleasant as it includes a unique route on the east side of the island at the foot of Mount Ypsario.

The route starts from the office (Hype Trails) and after each participant takes his bike, the necessary check is made and the bike fitting follows. After this process is completed, we start our first kilometers in the area of Skala Potamia parallel to the coastline.

After completing the warm-up we leave the beach behind us and go up a forest road facing the mountain. Soon we reach the area of Lefki and turn left to continue the forest road parallel to the ridge of the mountain.

After traveling our first 10 kilometers uphill we start to descend to the traditional settlement of Potamia. We cross the village, through the traditional square of the village with the plane trees, and take the traditional route to Mount Ypsario.

Following is an ascent that becomes more and more demanding almost up to the 20th kilometer, and there we leave the uphills. We have already turned to our next destination. The traditional settlement of Panagia. ‘A picturesque settlement with stone houses. There we cross the village from the cobbled streets and pass through the heart of the settlement with shops and souvenirs. The location is suitable for a short stop.

We have completed the demanding part of the route and we are heading to the golden coast to travel our last kilometers on the coastal road to our finish from where we started.

There follows a time of rest and discussion at the end of the journey.
