When searching for a bike you can use for a month or more, you’ll see terms like monthly rental, subscription, and leasing. They can sound the same, but at bFlex there’s one important difference: we only offer flexible subscriptions/leases, not rigid fixed-term monthly rentals.
Why We Don’t Offer Fixed Monthly Rentals
In a traditional monthly rental, you commit to exactly one month, pay up front, and return the bike when the month is over. If you want to keep riding, you have to make a new booking and payment.
At bFlex, we know most riders keep their bikes for 6–8 months. Having to re-book every month would be inconvenient for you and operationally inefficient for us. That’s why we only offer flexible subscriptions (leasing).
How bFlex Subscriptions (Leasing) Work
- Choose your bike and select your subscription start date.
- Pay for the first month — your subscription begins.
- Automatic renewal every month on your start-date anniversary.
- Cancel anytime — even during the first month. If you cancel before the renewal date, no further payments are taken.
Because billing is automatic, we don’t accept cash payments — this ensures smooth renewals without monthly follow-up calls.
The Option to Buy Your Bike
With most subscriptions, you can buy the bike at any time during your lease. The longer you’ve subscribed, the bigger the discount. That way, if you love the bike, it can become yours permanently.
