The ENGWE M1 Dual Battery is a moped-style electric fat bike designed for comfortable city commuting, longer journeys and mixed-terrain riding. Its strong high-carbon steel frame, wide seat and 20 × 4.0-inch fat tyres provide a stable and distinctive riding experience, while front and rear suspension help absorb bumps on rough streets, gravel and uneven roads.

The EU version is powered by a 250W brushless motor producing 65 Nm of torque, with electric assistance up to 25 km/h. A Shimano 7-speed drivetrain provides additional flexibility for hills, changing terrain and riding without motor assistance.

A major advantage of the ENGWE M1 is its dual-battery system, combining a 48V 15.6Ah battery with a 48V 13Ah battery for approximately 1,373Wh of total capacity. This provides a claimed range of up to 170 km in PAS 1, making the M1 particularly suitable for long-distance commuting and riders who want to charge less frequently.

The full suspension system works together with the wide fat tyres to improve comfort and stability across different surfaces. Hydraulic disc brakes provide controlled stopping power, while integrated front and rear lights, brake light and turn signals improve visibility during everyday riding.

A colour LCD display keeps important information such as speed, battery level and assistance mode easy to see.
